A couple years ago, I came across these adorable Popsicle stick Christmas craft ideas on Someday Crafts. I just love that blog!!

My aunt, grandma, mom and I decided to have a little pinterest party.  With our loyal sidekick, coffee, we got to work !

Christmas tree popsicles

It is soooo easy.  Here’s how we did it.

how to

Super easy and super adorable.

tree collage

We used little wooden blocks as a stand and painted them with textured paint to imitate snow and used floral wire as an embellishment on the red and white tree.  For the blue tree, I just used the opposite end of the paintbrush to make polka dots.  To create the black and white splatters, my Grandma flicked the paintbrush bristles with her fingers.  How stinkin’ adorable?

clothespins

We also made these adorable and simple Christmas Card Clothespins.  I made a set for myself and also gave them as gifts.

To make these:

  • Paint the clothespin
  • Cut strips of scrapbook paper and modge podge it to the clothespin.
  • Put a layer of modge podge over the scrapbook paper once you have it glued down.
  • Embellish with buttons.
  • I also took a layer of translucent glitter paint over them to make them sparkly.
