Freezer Meal Friday- Casserole Round-Up

 Last week, I shared with you 4 Easy Peasy Chicken Crockpot Freezer Meals.  We already gobbled up the Tex Mex Shredded Chicken.  We made burritos and tostadas with it.  YUM!

This week, I have collected 20 freezer friendly casseroles from some of my favorite blogs. I love having casseroles in my freezer, not only for us, but it’s awesome to be able to pull one out and take to a family in need.

Here’s a few freezer meal casserole tips:

1. I use EZ Foil bake pans, but there is another option if you don’t want to purchase these.  Simply take foil and place it in the bottom of your casserole dish with excess foil hanging over the edges, prepare your casserole and then freeze it.  After it is frozen, you can lift the casserole out with the foil and wrap it.  When you are ready to cook it, remove the foil and place in a casserole dish.
2. Have a sharpie handy!  On the foil, write the recipe, the date made and instructions (example-cook at 450 for 30 minutes)
3. Pull your freezer meal out and let thaw in the fridge overnight.  I usually pull mine out in the morning and let it thaw in the sink.  Be aware you may need to add more cooking time if it is still frozen in the middle.
4. Casseroles usually keep up to 3 months so just keep that in mind 😉
