Did you have a fun weekend? We certainly did. And I shall recap you over the next few days, because it deserves at least 2 different blog posts!
On to my short and sweet post 😉
Fitness Friday will begin this week! We officially started Insanity today! 400 calories burned in 25 minutes! BLEH! We have completed month 1 (of two) on two different occasions, but this time, we are seeing it all the way through. On Friday, I will post our stats (weight, measurements) and our Fit Test results. I will even post pictures!
Last week, I started a new “rule” for myself: my laptop may not be turned on until I have completed my devotional. I cannot believe how energized and good I feel when I start my day with a workout and a devotional. Man, it feels good!!! (PS: the devotional I am currently doing is really good and has to do with body image. I will be introducing and posting about it over the next 10 weekends starting April 6th! So look for that!)
Here’s the menu for the week 🙂
Monday- Spicy Chicken Rigatoni
Tuesday- Oven baked chimichangas
Wednesday- church dinner
Thursday- hamburgers with broccoli cheese bites
Friday- Honey Sauced Chicken & rice with shrimp egg rolls
Saturday- White Chicken Chili <–This is like the 4th time I’ve made this in the past month. It’s that good!!
Whats on your menu this week?

Your menu sounds awesome! I look forward to hearing more about the devotional. That is a good rule and I will try to make a schedule so I can follow the same rule!

Mmm…your white chicken chili sounds amazing. I may have to try that…very soon! Well, my menu is easy as I made a whole bunch of freezer friendly crock pot meals two weekends ago and am still living off of that goodness (I will DEFINITELY do that again). Our meals this week are:
1. stuffed bell peppers
2. teriyaki chicken
3. lentil tacos
4. dinner w/our church
5. leftovers from the week
6. meat stew
7. homemade bread for grilled cheese & tomato soup
Yum. I love menus 😉 And I will be checking out that chili recipe! Thanks!
