Let’s begin with a story.  Once upon a time, there was a young woman full of life, vibrant, enthusiastic, optimistic, determined, and nothing could bring her down.  She was strong willed and going to change the world.

But that was once upon a time.  Time had changed her.

This young woman, who once loved life, began to see her world becoming engulfed in darkness.  How could the world she lived in be so cruel?  How could the world she thought she could change be changing her?

This young woman was me.  Today, I blog to share with you that my “once upon a time” was a very dark and lonely place.  It is only by God’s grace that I am able to say that my story has a happy ending, and that I was indeed rescued by the Prince.

At Mended By Mercy, it is my hope to provide encouragement for women of all ages to embrace their imperfections and to grow in their faith.

This blog to be a ministry.  God has put it on my heart to write, so I write.  And I keep it real!
