Embracing Imperfection. Growing in Faith

Race Recaps

I was never a runner.  I could hardly run 30 seconds without feeling like death.

That is until November 2011.

 3 words people.

 Couch to 5k.

Sure, running 1 minute was like pure torture at first.  But gradually, running became a little less torturous and a little more fun.

Wait…running? Fun?  Those two words can be spoken in the same sentence together?

In 2012, I completed my first 5k, The Color Run.  And I’ve been addicted ever since.

I did it !!!!!!

5k

Color Run- 36 minutes

Chesterfield Turkey Trot- 30:04

 1/2 Marathon

Disney Wine and Dine- 2 hr 43 minutes
