Embracing Imperfection. Growing in Faith

December 10, 2012

Snuggles and Veggie Tales

I really wanted to write about my 1/2 marathon today.  I have so much to share with you about it, but then this happened…

Someone woke up with 103 fever today 🙁

Apparently the flu doesn’t wait for the to-do list to be done.  Although I have to praise God! Most of our friends have had the flu in the past week and I prayed that if we were going to get it (I was really hoping we wouldn’t but I didn’t see how we could avoid it!), let it be AFTER this past weekend.  Mr. Smartypants and I sing in the First Baptist Church Worship Choir and both nights this past weekend was our Christmas performance.  And it is SUCH a worshipful experience.  It’s one of my favorite things about the holiday season!  God answered those prayers and let us get through the weekend.  So thank  you God for that timing.

Now I am praying that you help E feel better fast!

As much as I want to cross stuff off my million mile long to do list, especially in this very busy holiday season, someone needs alot of extra love right now.  And that is just what mommy is going to do.

We have been enjoying some snuggles and Christmas Veggie Tales with all of our little friends today.

That to-do list will just have to wait. Mommy’s gotta go snuggle with her little man.
