2013- It had moments of happiness when Dr. Smartypants graduated with his Phd and moments of sadness when we received a phone call about the unexpected, very sudden death of my husband’s father. It was also full of moments of thankfulness as we watched our baby become a toddler. He brings so much joy to our life!!
2013 has come and gone. My marriage is at the best place its been. My husband’s and my spiritual life is at its highest as we both have figured out our Godly roles in marriage. We aren’t perfect and still struggle as any couple does, but we have finally got our priorities straight- God first, marriage second, children third. We’ve discovered that if you do it in this order, everything falls into place because that is how God designed it! By putting God first, our marriage has flourished and when our marriage is flourishing, we do a much better job of parenting.
We are excited for 2014. We pray God blesses ours and yours!
