It’s official. Fitness Friday has begun.
We officially started Insanity a couple weeks ago. Every workout is like a near death experience, but it’s so awesome. I can’t wait to see the results after 2 months of it!
Every 2 weeks, we will do what is called a fit test.
The fit test includes these 8 different moves and you keep track of how many reps you can do. There are 5 fit test total (every 2 weeks), and hopefully we see improvement with each one!

It’s hard to tell in my before pictures exactly where my trouble areas are. Fear not, they are there…
Never before would I have shown a picture of my tummy! It’s taking alot of courage to do this! Despite the shadow in the pic, you can see how my stomach looks like its been mauled by a tiger. I have stretch marks GALORE. I used to view them as something awful, but now I proudly wear my tiger stripes (hence the blog’s title!) RAWR! 127.8 lbs doesn’t seem like alot, but its enough that I still need to do some work to tighten and tone as evidenced by my love handles! I am hoping to get tone and lose 10 more lbs by the beginning of summer. But that’s not even the point. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll just keep on keeping on. Because I have learned to embrace my body, love handles, tiger stripes and all. Those “flaws” fuel me now. They don’t define me. And I’m so happy to be able to say that!!!

- Weight- 260. 0 (down 2.6 lbs!) <– Dr. Smartypants has been sick and only got in 2-3 workouts each week, which is why his fit test doesn’t reflect alot of improvement. However, he still lost a few lbs by watching what he is eating and still getting in some workouts! Every lb and inch counts! Way to go baby!
