This is going to be a short and sweet post because I’m about to head out on a roadtrip! One of my really close girlfriends recently moved an hour and half away and I miss her and her sweet family!!
Have you heard of Bountiful Baskets? It is an all volunteer run, non-profit co-op in which you can get fruits and veggies (and more!) for a REALLY good price!!!!
Go to their website and see if they are doing it in you area! For $15 bucks, you get a basket of fruits and a basket of veggies, and then you can add on whatever specials they are running that week.
Eli was a good helper carrying our bags and dragging our boxes through the line to get our baskets.
We spent $25 and we got the coventional $15 basket which includes all the fruits and veggies, and the extra $10 was for the bread special which including 3 loaves of 9 grain bread, a baguette and a really yummy fruity breakfast bread.
We are so getting our produce from bountiful baskets from now on! Our menu reflects all the produce that’s hanging out in our kitchen!
This weeks menu:
Monday- Dinner with friends!
Tuesday- Baked Ranch chicken with mashed potatoes and salad
Wednesday- Taco Chili frito pies
Thursday-deer steak with broccoli twice baked potatoes
Friday- Sweet n Sour chicken with homemade fried rice
Snacks
Baked parmesan zucchini – made this last week. SOOOOOOOOOOOO good!
What’s on your menu??
