As you know, I have been seeing a local chiropractor and I have some serious issues! And oh my gosh, I now seriously swear by chiropractics. It is amazing and I absolutely love it. On the bad side, I have been getting daily headaches for the past 2 weeks and my neck hurts pretty bad, but Dr. Pochucha reassured me that with the amount of movement my neck has to make, that this is expected and it will pass. And he said just by feeling my neck, he can already tell there has been significant improvement. I cannot wait to see my monthly x-rays!
This week, it was E’s turn to visit the chiropracter. He rather enjoyed playing under the table! This kiddo is 15 months and has had about 8 ear infections, and at least 3 of them were pretty bad. This last one he had about a month ago required a rocephin shot while we were in the office and he was put straight on Augmentin. We skipped over Amoxicillian and went straight for a stronger antibiotic! You know its bad when you gotta get a shot of antibiotics on board quickly ! His ear drum was collasping and all pussy. It was really, really bad. So we were instructed to see an ENT for tubes in his ears. I posted about my sadness of having to get tubes in his ears and my awesome bloggie friend Lisa from Fat Chick Fed Up suggested that we try a chiropracter. Use a chiropracter for ear infections? Chiorpracters can fix that? I was intrigued and started to do some research.
And then on Wednesday, I took E to see Dr. Pochucha. We discussed his birthing experience and his health history. He did a physical examination and scanned him with this cool gadget that measures heat, which indicates inflammation. The longer the line, the more inflammation.
Oh my goodness Stephanie-I am so excited for you! All but one of my kids have received chiro care and the results have been nothing short of AMAZING. I go regularly myself too. I started going during my last pregnancy and it's amazing how different I feel when I am getting regular adjustments. I hope you continue to see improvements for E!
