A couple months ago, the Women’s Ministry committee at church asked me if I would host a table at the 2nd annual Pinterest party. Me? Craft something and teach others how to do it? Umm…YES! I was born for this! We hosted our pinterest party last weekend and it was a BLAST!
To make the Button Easter Egg frame, you need to simply:
- Find an inexpensive frame. Remove the glass. Hot glue the fabric to the glass along the edges, cutting the excess fabric off the back (but leaving enough to fold over and hot glue down to the back of the glass) so that you can then put the frame backing back on. Scrapbook paper can be used instead of fabric, but buttons and fabric just go together.
- Arrange your buttons in an egg shape.
- Hot glue them down.
We do enjoy a good Easter egg hunt and bunnies are pretty darn cute, but the reason we celebrate Easter is the Risen King!
So I created a simple Button Cross Frame using the exact same steps as above.
This craft is so simple but so elegant and really looks great with the rest of my spring and Easter decor!
I do love making my own crafts, but I also love beautiful seasonal themed decor that is easy to use!
